Tim Glemkowski
President and Founder
Tim Glemkowski has served in various roles in evangelization including teaching high school theology, youth and young adult ministry at a parish, and as a director of evangelization and catechesis. He double-majored in theology and philosophy at Franciscan University of Steubenville and has his Master's in Theology from the Augustine Institute in Denver, CO. A sought-after speaker, Tim is passionate about seeing the Church renewed through forming disciples. His favorite thing to do is to be in the outdoors with his wife Magdalene and their two young children.
Magdalene Glemkowski
Managing Director
Magdalene Glemkowski received her bachelor’s in Biology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and then a second bachelor’s in nursing through the accelerated program at SUNY - Binghamton. She has worked on several critical care units at large hospitals and, additionally, has served as the Managing Director of L’Alto since 2018. Maggie founded the women’s ministry, Project 5.41, as an outreach to high school and college aged women.
JACKIE ARNOLD
Wichita Area Director / Parish Coach
Jackie Arnold feels blessed to have had her faith nurtured in the Wichita diocese as a lifelong native. She graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a BA in Humanities and Catholic Culture, and completed her MA in Theology from Newman University. She has worked as an adjunct philosophy instructor, DRE, and catechist, as well as a speaker at the Spiritual Life Center and throughout the diocese. Her textbook on vocations will be available from Ave Maria Press in 2019. Jackie and her husband Joel, a Catholic school principal, are raising 5 rambunctious children. She is excited to bring L'Alto's vision of forming missionary disciples to Wichita parishes!
JONATHAN BLEVINS
Parish Coach
Jonathan is the Director of Catechesis & Evangelization for Saint Paul the Apostle Parish in Gurnee, IL where he leads a team doing ministry from womb to tomb. Jonathan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theology from Silver Lake College and a Master's Degree in Religious Education with an emphasis in Youth and Young Adult Ministry from Fordham University.
Edmund Mitchell
Parish Coach
Edmund Mitchell is the Director of Evangelization and Catechesis for St. Francis of Assisi in Grapevine, TX. A graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville with a double major in Theology and Catechetics; Edmund worked in youth ministry for years before his current position. Manda Mccleery
Parish Coach
After serving in two national evangelization movements (NET Ministries and FOCUS, as a team director), Manda has been serving in parish ministry roles as a Coordinator of Evangelization and Discipleship since 2011, first at St. Timothy’s in Mesa, and more recently at North American Martyrs in the Diocese of Lincoln. Manda lives in Lincoln, NE with her husband and son.
Mallory Smyth
Ascent Speaker
Mallory Smyth speaks around the country on topics such as Catholic worldview, inheritance of faith and the feminine genius. Mallory fell in love with Jesus during her junior year of college at Louisiana State University. She then entered full-time ministry after working as an accountant for one year. She served as a FOCUS missionary for five years and is currently the director of program growth for ENDOW, or Educating on the Nature and Dignity of Women. It is her dream to see Catholics fall deeply in love with God and fully live the joy of the Gospel. Mallory lives in Denver with her husband, Jared, and their two daughters, Penelope and Eliza.
Pete Burak
ASCENT Speaker
Pete Burak is a 2010 graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville (FUS). He has a heart for preaching and reaching today's Catholic youth and young adults. His core message is: "Stand up and be a man or woman of God, in the heart of the Church!" He engages young people with stories from his youth, high school experiences, his two years with the University of Michigan basketball team, and his transfer to FUS. He motivates young people to stand up for Jesus and make a difference in their world.
Pete is a frequent speaker on discipleship, evangelization, and young adult topics, and he is the co-director of Pine Hills Boys Camp. He has spoken for Legatus, has been a featured speaker at the Lift Jesus Higher Youth Rally in Toronto, and also gives numerous high school and middle school retreats. He is the director of Pine Hills Camp for junior-high-aged boys. Pete works as the Director of i.d.9:16, a Renewal Ministries’ outreach to Catholic young adults. Additionally, he is working toward his Masters in Theology and Evangelization at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit. He is married to Caitlin (Donovan) of Lewes, Delaware, and they have four children.
